About this Website
Beautiful England was designed and created by my son, David, as a natural extension to English Village Scenes which displays my limited edition and hand painted prints.
Beautiful England consists entirely of photographs I have taken and, therefore, it is a personal collection of many of the places I have visited in England and Wales. There are thousands of photographs on the website and more are frequently added. Informative notes for each album are gradually being compiled and added. Some of the locations have family connections, especially Lambourn in Berkshire and the surrounding villages. My Mother spent many happy summers as a child here, staying with her Grandmother in her cottage.
This website gives me much pleasure and I hope you will find it interesting and enjoyable.
